Kettle bell swings are one of the best exercises for runners. In fact I would even go as far to say they are one of the best exercise for runners as they work on 2 of the 3 areas of strength training that are crucial for runners – posterior chain strength and core stability, and by building up core strength in a dynamic way, they can also help with the third key strength element – single leg stability.
